Axim registry editing

I think a lot of people are having trouble editing their registries on the Axim (maybe other pdas as well). When I first started tinkering around with the registry, I found that sometimes the keys I deleted would just come back after a soft reboot. After doing some reading on Aximsite, apparently to save your registry settings, you have to:

  1. Turn off the Axim (press the power) for about 30 seconds.
  2. Turn it back on.
  3. Soft reset your device.

Following these steps allows the registry to rewrite to memory (or so I’ve read). You know however, if you’re going to be doing anything to your Axim’s registry you better know what you’re doing, and know you may lose your data and maybe even your working device… Use with caution!
