2004 Luzon

2004 Luzon (Monastrell/Syrah blend)
Jumilla Spain

I don’t think I can recall a Spanish wine that has ever disappointed me, this 2004 Luzon was no exception. It was a deep purple color, full bodied, plenty of fruit, and a long finish. Tonight I drank it with some pasta, but it probably called for a steak. At $7.99 (Central Market), I feel like picking up a case.
